This recent application simulates 3 different quantum communication protocols in the classroom. The general idea is that students are randomly paired with someone else of the classroom not knowing who that person is. All the Alices then have to do their part of the protocol and the Bobs have to do theirs for creating a secret key. They then apply their key to send/receive a message. Educational toolkit

A practical introduction to quantum computing. CERN openlab and the CERN Quantum Technology Initiative (QTI) have organised a series of seven open, free lectures on quantum computing. The talks will focus on the practical aspects of quantum computing and the course will also discuss the implementation of algorithms in quantum simulators and actual quantum computers (such as the ones available through the IBM Quantum Experience and D-Wave Leap). 7 lectures. No previous knowledge of quantum physics is required, and from a mathematical point of view, only a good command of basic linear algebra is assumed. Some familiarity with the python programming language would be helpful, but is also not required.
